Lithium baths, the right lip liner, mitochondria obsession, I love LA
I spent last week in LA and I like using travel as a time to test new products. Either recent purchases or formulas I’m developing, having items in small containers and being outside of my real life makes for the perfect time to assess new things. A secret trick in product development is that labs will show you new lipstick formulas in bright, classic red because everything looks major in red. It’s once you see that same formula in nude, that you can tell whether it's actually good or not. I feel the same way about testing new products — once I’m outside of my regular bathroom mirror and in unfamiliar lighting, that’s how I can really tell what’s what.
