Hi, Tech
Device report - vagus nerve stimulators, microneedling pens, vibration plates, grounding mats, LEDs, acne wands
I don’t like having a lot of stuff and keep my apartment purposely sparse. But I do like trying a lot of things and, increasingly, those things involve devices. Beauty companies launching at-home, spa-style machinery really gained traction during the late aughts, with NuFace leading the charge; the original looking very different than it does today. The main one lodged in my brain forever is the Bliss FatGirlSlim Lean Machine. Imagine launching that thing today with that name.
I don’t really believe in a lot of the regular at-home beauty tech but I tend to believe in their health hack-y counterparts. These are not things you need to live a beautiful life but they may be enhancements you want. There is nothing wrong with desire.
Below: my beloved vagus nerve stimulator, my personal system of how to microneedle at home, I found the lightest weight vibration plate, wtf is a grounding mat, LEDs, my facialist and her high frequency glass wand for acne.
